CAN Do Innovation Culture: Activity Report

Six-Day Certificate Workshop on Innovation and Idea Generation (30 Hours) 15th to 20th September 2025
The Innovation Club of N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod organized a Six-Day Certificate Workshop on Innovation and Idea Generation from 15th to 20th September 2025. This 30-hour workshop, conducted in two daily sessions, was designed to develop students’ creativity, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and entrepreneurial learning. More than 70 students actively participated in the programme. Eminent resource persons from various institutions delivered insightful sessions on innovation, creativity, brainstorming, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and project development. Along with lectures, students engaged in hands-on activities such as mind mapping, role play, group discussions, and project planning, fostering an environment of creative collaboration. On the concluding day, students presented their innovative posters, models, and project ideas during the valedictory session, followed by certificate distribution. The programme proved to be highly effective in developing an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Sessions on startup culture and innovation-based business models guided participants from idea generation to practical implementation. Students developed more than ten innovative projects, including Smart Irrigation, Solar Charger, Smart Dustbin, and a Safety App. These activities enhanced their creativity, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Rashmita B. Vishrama, Innovation Club Coordinator. The valuable support and guidance of Dr. R. H. Parmar, Vice Principal, played a crucial role in making this programme a grand success. His encouragement and motivation greatly inspired both the organizing team and the participants to achieve excellence.
World Entrepreneurs’ Day Celebration 22 August 2025
The World Entrepreneurs’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 22 August 2025 at N. P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, under the auspices of the Innovation Club. The event was organized with the objective of fostering entrepreneurial spirit, motivating students towards innovation, and highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in national development. The Program was graced by the distinguished presence of Shri Mukeshbhai V. Baldha, who delivered an inspiring lecture as the chief speaker of the day. His address emphasized the role of creativity, risk-taking, and perseverance in building successful enterprises. He also shared valuable insights from his own experiences that deeply motivated the students. The event was conducted under the coordination of Dr. Rashmita B. Vishrama, Innovation Club Coordinator, who successfully managed the planning and execution of the program. The guidance and support of Dr. S. K. Pambhar, Principal, and Dr. R. H. Parmar, Vice Principal, were instrumental in making the celebration a success. The teaching and non-teaching staff members actively participated in the program and encouraged students to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship as future career opportunities. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the organizing committee and the enthusiastic participation of students. The World Entrepreneurs’ Day Celebration 2025 thus proved to be a remarkable and inspiring event, strengthening the vision of the college to promote innovation, skill development, and entrepreneurial culture among its learners.
World Intellectual Property Day Celebration Essay Competition 26 April 2025
N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod celebrated World Intellectual Property (IP) Day 2025 with enthusiasm and purpose under the banner of the Innovation Club. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rashmita Vishrama, Innovation Club Coordinator and Co-coordinator J.M Patel. Themed “IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP,” the celebration focused on raising awareness about the role of intellectual property in promoting creativity and protecting the rights of creators, particularly in the music industry. A key highlight of the event was the Essay Competition organized for students, offering them an opportunity to express their understanding of copyright, patents, and trademarks. The competition received enthusiastic participation and showcased students’ creative thinking and awareness. Dr. J.K. Radadiya graced the event as an expert speaker, delivering valuable insights on the importance of IP rights in today’s knowledge-based economy. The successful execution of the program was made possible with the support and guidance of Principal Dr. S.K. Pambhar and the active involvement of college staff members, whose efforts contributed significantly to the smooth coordination and success of the event.
World Creativity and Innovation Day Quiz Competition 21 April 2025
N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day on 21st April 2025 with great enthusiasm and purpose. The event aimed to cultivate creative thinking, problem-solving, and a spirit of innovation among students. A major highlight of the celebration was an engaging Quiz Competition, organized with a focus on themes such as innovation, general knowledge, current affairs, and science & technology. Students actively participated in team formats and competed across several dynamic rounds: (1) Innovation Round (2) Audio- Visual Round and (3) Rapid Fire Round. The competition created a vibrant and intellectually stimulating atmosphere. Winning teams were honoured with certificates and appreciation for their performance. Adding depth to the program, J. M. Patel (computer programmer) graced the event as a guest speaker. His motivational address emphasized the crucial role of creativity in modern education and inspired both students and faculty alike. The event was a testament to the united efforts of the college community. All teaching and non-teaching staff members played a vital role in organizing and supporting the program with seamless coordination and dedication. The celebration was coordinated by Dr. Rashmita B. Vishrama, under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. S. K. Pambhar. The initiative provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their creative abilities and fostered a culture of innovation within the campus.

Innovation Club 2024-2025: DIY KIT Phase – 1 & 2 Training

The Phase-1 DIY KIT training, organized by the Innovation Club under the guidance of the Commissioner of Higher Education, Gandhinagar, was conducted at N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, During 8th to 9th July 2024.A total of 20 students actively participated in the training. The sessions were effectively conducted by trainers Mr. Der Parth N. and Mr. Vaja Digvijay L. The Phase-2 DIY KIT training, organized by the Innovation Club under the guidance of the Commissioner of Higher Education, Gandhinagar, was held at N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, on 14th to15th February 2025.A total of 29 students actively participated in the training. The sessions were effectively conducted by trainer Mr. Manish Yadav.Principal Dr. S. K. Pambhar addressed the students and highlighted the importance of the Innovation Club in fostering creativity and practical learning.All faculty members of the college contributed to the success of the training. The entire program was managed by Innovation Club Coordinator, Dr. Rashmita Vishrama, along with Co-coordinator Prof. J. M. Patel.

Innovation Club 2023-2024: Tools and Kits Exhibition

An Innovation Club has been established at our college in collaboration with the Higher Education Department, Education Department, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. This club is an ambitious initiative aimed at inspiring both technical and non-technical students to develop their ideas and transform them into startups, thereby unlocking their creative potential.To familiarize students with various tools and kits, an exhibition was organized to showcase the resources and opportunities available through the Innovation Club. The entire program was managed by the Innovation Club Coordinator, Prof. A. R. Javia, along with Co-coordinators Prof. J. M. Patel, Prof. C. J. Vadhiya, and Prof. B. N. Raijada.

Innovation Club 2022-2023: DIY KIT (Prabodh) Level Training

A DIY KIT (Prabodh) Level training program, organized under the guidance of the Commissioner of Higher Education, Gandhinagar, was conducted by the Innovation Club at N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, from 14th to18th October 2022.A total of 45 students actively participated in the training. The sessions were effectively conducted by trainer Mr. Alpesh Maru. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. K. R. Parmar in the presence of invited guest Mr. Arjun Paghdar.All faculty members of the college contributed to the success of the training. The entire program was managed by Innovation Club Coordinator, Prof. A. R. Javia, along with Co-coordinators Prof. J. M. Patel, Prof. C. J. Vadhiya, and Prof. B. N. Raijada.
