The Social Awareness Cell of N. P. College was established with the objective of inculcating moral values and developing a deep sense of social responsibility among students. It aims to create awareness about the various social issues and hardships faced by different sections of society. By engaging students in meaningful social activities, the Cell encourages them to become empathetic, compassionate, and socially conscious individuals. It promotes an inclusive mindset that respects all people, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, disability, class, or sexual identity. The Cell organizes a variety of community-based programs such as cleanliness drives, visits to orphanages and old age homes, blood donation camps, health awareness initiatives, and environmental conservation efforts. These activities not only instill social sensitivity but also strengthen students’ social skills, making them responsible citizens committed to positive societal transformation. All activities are carried out by students under the guidance of faculty members, reinforcing the college’s role as a socially responsive institution. Through this platform, the Social Awareness Cell plays a vital role in shaping students into active participants in building a just and compassionate society.
