Har Ghar Tiranga Rally
On 6 August 2025, N. P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, successfully organized a Har Ghar Tiranga rally under the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event was coordinated by Dr. A. M. Chaudhari, who encouraged students and volunteers to participate with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. This rally was conducted as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, aimed at inspiring citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes and strengthen the values of unity and national pride. The rally began from the college campus and proceeded through the main areas of Keshod town. NSS volunteers and students marched in disciplined rows while carrying the tricolor and raising patriotic slogans. Placards and banners highlighting the significance of the Indian national flag and the objectives of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign were displayed throughout the procession. The rally attracted the attention of local residents, who responded positively and expressed their support. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made during India’s struggle for independence and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold the dignity of the flag. Swachhta Abhiyan
On 6 August 2025, N. P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, organized a Swachhta Abhiyan under the banner of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The program was effectively coordinated by Dr. A. M. Chaudhari, who motivated students and NSS volunteers to actively participate in the cleanliness drive. The initiative was undertaken to instill the values of hygiene, civic responsibility, and environmental awareness among students and the surrounding community. The drive began with an awareness talk by Dr. Chaudhari, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness as part of personal discipline and national development. Following this, students and volunteers engaged in cleaning the college premises, classrooms, corridors, and surrounding public areas. Particular attention was given to waste segregation and proper disposal practices. Volunteers also interacted with local residents to spread the message of maintaining cleanliness at home and in public spaces. The campaign reflected the NSS motto “Not Me but You” by encouraging collective responsibility toward community welfare. Both faculty and students expressed their commitment to continue such initiatives regularly. The program concluded with a pledge to maintain cleanliness and support the Swachh Bharat Mission, reaffirming the college’s dedication to social and environmental responsibility.
Tree Plantation Drive
On 6 August 2025, N. P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, organized a Tree Plantation Drive under the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event was coordinated by Dr. A. M. Chaudhari, who guided the NSS volunteers and students throughout the program. The drive was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, enhancing greenery, and contributing to ecological balance in line with the vision of sustainable development. The activity began with a brief address by Dr. Chaudhari, who highlighted the significance of trees in maintaining clean air, conserving biodiversity, and combating climate change. Following this, volunteers and faculty members planted saplings within the college campus and surrounding areas. Various species of trees, including neem, banyan, and mango, were planted to ensure both environmental and ecological benefits in the long term. Students took responsibility for watering and nurturing the saplings, committing to their growth and protection. The program created enthusiasm among participants and spread a message of environmental responsibility. By planting trees, the NSS unit not only contributed to a greener campus but also reinforced its role in community service. The event concluded with a collective pledge to safeguard nature and promote a clean, green future.
