Inter College Cross Country Competition (Men/Women) 2024-25
As per the Sports Calendar 2024–25 of Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, the Inter-College Cross Country Competition (Men/Women) was successfully organized by N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod, on Tuesday, 13th August 2024. Under the able leadership and arrangements of Dr. S.K. Pambhar, I/C Principal, all necessary requirements for the event were efficiently managed. The competition featured separate races for boys and girls, ensuring fair and smooth participation. A total of 52 athletes took part—33 boys from 11 colleges and 19 girls from 6 colleges—representing 13 different colleges affiliated with the university. The event was marked by strong coordination and support from Physical Training Instructors (PTIs), team managers, the Keshod Police Department, medical staff from Keshod Government Hospital, and NCC Navy cadets. Their valuable assistance ensured safety, discipline, and proper conduct throughout the event. The enthusiastic participation and successful execution of the competition reflected the spirit of sportsmanship and collaboration among all involved. The college takes pride in hosting this significant event and contributing to the promotion of fitness and sports among youth.
BKNM University Inter-College Tug of War Competition (Men/Women) 2023-24
The Inter-College Tug of War Competition was held on 13th February 2024 at N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod. The event was full of energy, strength, and excitement, with many colleges from the region taking part enthusiastically. Separate matches were held for men and women, and each team gave their best in every round, showing great teamwork, strategy, and determination. In the men’s category, the host college, N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod, won the final match with excellent coordination and strength. In the women’s category, Kodinar College became the champion by showing great teamwork and resilience. The event brought students together and created a friendly and competitive atmosphere. Both players and spectators enjoyed the thrilling matches. The competition not only promoted physical fitness but also encouraged unity and sportsmanship among students. It was a successful and memorable event, leaving everyone excited for more such competitions in the future.
Inter-College Handball Competition 2023- 24
The Inter-College Handball Competition was held on 30th September 2023 at N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod, bringing together talented players from different colleges. The event was filled with excitement, showcasing excellent sportsmanship, skill, and teamwork. All matches were intense and competitive, keeping the audience engaged throughout. After several thrilling rounds, the host team, N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod, emerged as the champions with an impressive performance. The efforts of the organizers, coaches, and volunteers ensured the smooth running of the event and promoted fair play. The competition concluded with an award ceremony where winners were felicitated, and all participants were appreciated for their team spirit and dedication. The event was a great success, encouraging youth to take part in sports and build unity through healthy competition.
Inter College Weightlifting and Power lifting Competition 2022-23
N.P. Arts & Commerce College, Keshod proudly hosted the Inter College Weightlifting and Powerlifting Competition on 14th September 2022, bringing together talented athletes from various institutions to promote strength sports and foster sportsmanship. Participants competed in challenging events such as squats, bench presses, and deadlifts, showcasing exceptional strength, endurance, and determination. The competition served as a platform for young athletes to demonstrate their abilities while strengthening inter-college relationships and encouraging a culture of fitness and healthy competition. Sports Day 2021-22
N.P. Arts and Commerce College, Keshod, organized its Annual Sports Day on 17th February 2022 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. The event was held on the college ground among natural greenery, creating a joyful and energetic atmosphere. A variety of games and sports activities were conducted to encourage physical fitness, team spirit, and healthy competition among students. Boys enthusiastically participated in the sack race, which brought laughter and excitement to the spectators. The musical chair event for girls added fun and cheer to the occasion as participants ran around the chairs with energy and excitement. The skipping race showcased the physical agility of girl students, while the lemon and spoon race tested the balance and concentration of the boys. Students and staff gathered in large numbers to witness the events and cheered for the participants, creating a lively and supportive environment. Faculty members took charge of managing and judging the events, ensuring fair play and discipline. Overall, the Sports Day was a grand success, promoting unity, enjoyment, and a spirit of healthy competition.
